BUT FIRST, BREAKFAST

One of my favourite things to do is, well, eat! I love exploring the amazing flavours food has to offer. One particular recipe that has always stuck with me is French toast. There are many variations of this delicious breakfast treat, some sweet and some savoury. I am going to show you how to make a basic, yet delicious, savoury French toast!

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread

  • 2 eggs

  • Grated cheese

Directions:

Start off by whisking both eggs in a bowl until smooth.

Completely soak your first piece of bread in the egg by dipping it in the bowl.

Place the bread into a hot frying pan and then quickly cover the top in grated cheese.

Very carefully flip over the bread so that the cheese is facing the pan. The cheese should stick to the bread when you do this because of the egg.

Do the same to both sides of the bread until a golden yellow.

You can then make this easy breakfast as many times as you want! I usually like to make two pieces, because it's just that amazing! If you try this recipe at home, please let me know how it goes and if you would change anything! X
