RECUPERATING AFTER A LONG WEEK

Often we forget to take care of ourselves during the busyness of the work week. To make your productivity at its best, here are a couple of recuperation tips that are best done on the weekend.

1) Sleep in

There's nothing better than closing your curtains and waking up wrapped in your doona like a toasty cinnamon bun. Take the opportunity to entirely recharge by sleeping in.

2) Focus on your body

Treat yourself to a face mask and just relax! Give your body a full moisture boost then lay down and ignore your phone calls, insta notifications and texts. Focus on yourself for a while.

3) Eat well

During the stress of the work week, we tend to eat junk food as a bit of an emotional getaway. To rejuvenate your body, eat healthy! Make a big yummy salad, or a fruit juice. Healthy food doesn't have to taste bad!

4) No makeup!

Sometimes you may require wearing makeup on the weekend for a special occasion, although try to spend as much time possible bare faced. It feels great and your skin will love you for it!

5) Write it down

Any problems, random thoughts or ideas deserve a home. Dedicate a notebook to your mind and use it to your benefit.

6) Take a walk

Sounds strange; exercise. Although, a leisurely walk can often help you to free your mind of worries. It can also help you to think of solutions these worries.

7) Tea!

Tea is a rejuvenating way to relax whilst helping your digestive system and overall health! It's also heaps of fun to test out all the different flavours to find a favourite.
