HANDBAG ESSENTIALS WHEN TRAVELLING

After three weeks of travelling around Europe to 7 different countries, I have gained a good knowledge of everything you need when travelling. It is important that you have the right gear with you at all times! So I have decided to put together a few things that I keep in my handbag when out and about. These don’t include the obvious things like your phone or purse.
PS. Even if you aren’t travelling, these can still apply to you! :)

Makeup/Baby wipes
Depending on what I am doing that day, I either take makeup or baby wipes with me. I know that makeup wipes aren’t great for your skin, but they are extremely helpful if you’ve had a long day and can’t be bothered cleansing your face. I have to admit to being guilty of this one a couple of times! Whereas baby wipes are fantastic for cleaning your hands after eating and getting stains out!
Touch up bag
Even when not travelling, I always carry my touch up bag everywhere. It is basically just a small bag that holds one nude lipstick, a BB cream, mascara and concealer, which tends to be just enough for me.
Portable phone charger
I can’t even begin to say how many times this little lifesaver has helped me! On the plane, train, bus and at concerts, a portable phone charger is for all occasions. Just get one.
Earphones
I can’t go anywhere without my earphones! I don’t know why, but music seems to make it alot easier for me to concentrate in class, as well as make things more fun. So if you’re a music junkie like me, be sure to chuck these in your handbag!
Socks
Honestly, it sounds so strange but having socks in your bag makes long distance travelling way better! I always get cold on public transport and planes for some reason, so this one is a must for me.
Moisturiser
This one isn’t necessarily for everyone, but if you have dry skin or if it's winter, it’s a must. Keeping a small, travel-sized moisturiser is especially good in winter when your skin starts to get dehydrated and flaky. I like to use the goat’s milk moisturiser for optimal results.
Hope that a couple of these ideas helped you better prepare yourself for the next time you travel. :)
